I have returned support for elite and regular units to the modification

but no need to use the independent architecture + units data mod

can you make a reskin for the knight line to make the Cavalier and Paladin like this?

They are wings, not horns.

People in medieval ages obviously worse big ass helmets with heavy horns or "crests" to joust https://imgur.com/a/UVRXZX2 (talking about Renaissance era jousting since the goal was to knock the opponent's crest off). But since it was so damn heavy it wouldn't be very practical when you're fighting.

@Dutspice They rarely wore them on the battlefield, however, high ranks did have horned helmets, therefore, giving them only to the Elite Teutonic Knights is quite fitting. :)
