The saga of Jethro Q. Walrustitty

Description
Some of the test subjects who participated in the J.Q.Walrustitty departments test 'Piece of cake' reacted rather badly to the drugs we administered to them. So badly that they seem to have gone completely barking mad. They were scheduled for a lobotamy but ... erm.... sort of... escaped. We currently can't find them but they seem to have taken control of our test area configuration systems and have been making tests of their own. Like this one. We apologise to anyone to attempts this test but cannot accept responsibility for any injuries, loss of life, deterioration in mental health or anything else caused by this chamber. If you see the escaped test subject please terminate on sight.

(Note: tweaked to reduce repeated symbols, make antline routes clearer and fix case of getting trapped - many thanks to [Tom K] for the playtesting and bug reporting)

Week 6 winner! Congratulations!

I started giving true honest feedback after I made a map myself. I also try to focus on mentioning negative things rather then positive things. Simply cause you as the mapper do not know where all those dislikes come from, why is it?? So I thought why not making this project with giving video feedback and text feedback, instead of just playing. The video thing is fun like hell for me. So, anytime again!

Ahhh yes I see, you were certainly trapped and I need to sort out the signage/antlines issue [spolier]and also i didn't intend for the reflection cube to be taken through as far as you took it, need another fizzler i think![/spoiler] but many thanks, that was a great review and video. It makes it so much easier to find bugs in puzzles when someone else plays it for you. cheers!!!!!!!!

And in the end, I thought like if I'm supposed to get the lense with me for so long, why isn't it a companion cube. I see the points rather speaking for the lense too though, but what I wanna say: It should be more clear that the lense has to come with you. I also noticed some blocks are floating or mounted unrealistically to grids.
Soo,I gotta go with a 6 for the current version, although the puzzle style was really cool and versatile!

Difficulty: 6/10
Time: 30min

I make 20 posts if necessary but the letter limit is killing me.

Impression: There are various things I didn't like in the current version. It started with that 'cage' you fall in and can't go out. I was stuck completely imho without the feel of doing something wrong. And as said, the grid layout is not my favorite. You have overview, but that overview is always disturbed by the grids. We have double appearing signage, one antiline there (bottom right from start) was not fine... Often the portal placement felt from very close angles, e.g. for the laser to square. As I had to go back getting my lense there at the orange funnel, I had to make a pitspot up there and there was no option to go quick and direct, which also felt like breaking the flow.

Cheers for the feedback guys. Much appreciated. [Tom K] you mentioned a video but there is no link. I'll check your profile incase you have linked your account with a youtube channel. If there are areas where you can get stuck i'll get on it and fix the puzzle. Thanks again!

The map starts relatively simple, you don't have many options. You just do what you can, and you progress. In the 'middle' section, difficulty increases with the fizzler crossing the beam there. The end is imho the most tricky part with all the stuff you put into there. It's well made how difficulty inreases. But I still think it's not too hard to find the solution, even at the end. So I give it a 6/10.

Hello hi and welcome to my review :P
I think I detected two spots where you can get stuck, although I'm not a 100% sure about it. See in the vid, this is in the box where the jump gel is if the lense was not placed, and also if you don't place the cube near the orange beam in the "moon" cube slot in time. As said, not sure though.
There is another place where you can get trapped near the end, see video.
I peronally am not a fan of massive grid/glass usage, but you put it into a good concept.
I guess you noticed yourself you have problems with not enough signs (moon, X, dot,...) and them appearing twice. But it looks like it's hard to avoid that in your map. But I think it's ok as it is, since I was never confused.

Overall, a nice map! Now you asked for difficulty rating and so on, and I wanna explain the rating. I reach the 1000 letter limit though. So, second post ;)

I could use a good lobotamy, but I escaped from your chamber. Being able to see all the rooms made it feel confusing, and many times I thought I was stuck, but in each case there was a way to continue. So Difficulty about 7 out of 10, but makes you think it is even harder! Good Job
