Install Instruction

1. Make backup of this files

(C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2_dlc2\sound\player\survivor\voice\namvet)

and

(C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2_dlc3\sound\player\survivor\voice\namvet)

2. Install GCFscape Download [gamebanana.com]

3. Open GCFscape, navigate to this vpk

(C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\addons\workshop\1681495231.vpk)

(Might need to restart Left 4 Dead 2 and let it download for it to appear)

4. Extract and replace all files to

(C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2_dlc2\sound\player\survivor\voice\namvet)

and

(C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2_dlc3\sound\player\survivor\voice\namvet)

5. Open Left 4 Dead 2 and open console by pressing ~

(Enable dev console first by pressing Options->Keyboard/Mouse->Allow Developer Console-Enable)

then type "snd_rebuildaudiocache;snd_updateaudiocache;quit" without quote

-Game should quit automatically after it finished rebuilding the audiocache
should be around 3 to 5 minute depending on your computer spec.

6. Done. You should now hear his voice without any problems.

Uninstalling

Unsubscribe and simply restore the backup you've made and open the console ~ then type "snd_rebuildaudiocache;snd_updateaudiocache;quit"

You can also restore the original sound by going to your

Steam Client->Library->Games->Right click Left 4 Dead 2->Properties->Local Files->Verify Integrity of Games files.
