Zun Se Faal Dovahkiin - Weapons of the Dragonborn
9 items
Description
After the sucess of my Qahnaarin - Sword of the Dragonborn mod I was inspired to start a series of similar weapons. Krongrah is the Mace of the Dragonborn.

It has the model and most of the stats of the standard dragonbone mace, however it is more powerful and slightly faster. Krongrah in the dragon language means 'Victory'.

The mace can swing as fast as a regular one-handed sword can. The effect of which is a fairly fast and deadly powerful weapon. The increased speed makes it looks as if your character is just swinging it around effortlessly, which is awesome ;)

As well as the increased strentgh and speed, it also has a special effect. It has a huge stagger ratio, which means that it is very easy to stagger enemies completely using power attacks!

Perfect for shattering the bones of your enemies, just as a Dragonborn should!

QUICK STATS:

Base Damage: 25 (Compared to 17 of Dragonbone Mace)

Weight: 22

Speed: 1.0 (Compared to 0.8 of Dragonbone Mace)

Value: 3000 (Compared to 2000 of Dragonbone Mace)

Special Effect: Increased stagger with power attacks.

NOTES: PLS READ!

- Requires Dawnguard.

- Found on the very top of the throat of the world. Only accesible after learning the 'Clear Skies' shout.

- Its special effect isn't an enchantment. It will never run out and you can't disenchant it.

- When you get the top of the mountian, get the mace before the notched pickaxe (if you haven't already). If you pick up the pickaxe first (whilst the mace is there) the mace might fall off the mountian due to a quirk in the vanilla system.

- For everyone worried about confliction with other mods in this series, the mace is also found in an urn at the top of the mountian. This means there will be no conflictions between this mod and Qahnaarin or any other weapon. If you are still not convinced they don't conflict look at the last image.

- Don't complain about it being overpowered. Keep in mind that it is meant to be the most powerful mace there is as it is the Dragonborn's special one.

- The increase in speed is actually not as overpowered as I thought it might be. It does not look oddly fast, it looks really natural. It looks as if your character is just swinging it around effortlessly which looks pretty cool.

- As always, enjoy! :)

Additional Lore by Mikhael IceFang and jasonjwillis:

''Legend has it that when Alduin, First son of Akatosh, was killed, his bones were scattered across Tamriel. Millenia later they were found by the Blades and were taken to the greatest blacksmiths of Tamriel, those who could take the blood of the gods, Ebony, to legendary heights. And so, guided by the prophecies of the Elder Scrolls, they forged the bones of the World Eater and the blood of the gods into eight penultimate weapons. Qahnaarin - Sword of the Dragonborn and Zahkrii - Blade of the Dragonborn, they carved from the leg bones of the worldeater. Volaan - Bow of the Dragonborn, they made from the smallest of Blackwing’s ribs. Kinzon - The Daggers of the Dragonborn, were expertly wrought from two vertebrae. Mulaag - The Hammer of the Dragonborn, was fashioned from the thighbone. Hahkun - Battleaxe of the Dragonborn and Vahlok - Waraxes of the Dragonborn, they made of fangs from his great maw and Krongrah - Mace of the Dragonborn they fashioned from each of the mammoth dragon’s back claws. After the creation of these weapons, the leader of the blades with a Moth priest, sacrificed his sight to use the Dragon Elder Scroll to cast the weapon through the time wound to the peak of the throat of the world at the dawn of Tamriel.''

Yikes, double comment!..

ER ya, I had an idea though about a band of "Dragon Smiths." The story is something about these smithy's once being apart of a band of dragon hunters who used the bones to make some coin and weapons/armor to further their cause. Well when they set forth the plan to make the weapons, they'd agreed to do it together. But one day, one of the hunters left behind the other, along with some of the bones, yet later both pursued the idea of making their own designs. And from that point, word had spread about the two dragon smiths, both making their designs known around skyrim.

But that's not the end of it! Eventually rumors were spread, waging a kind of dragonbone war between the two. And unique weapons were made from both sides to prove to each other who made the better brand. So now, in present time, those weapons are still around, yet scattered about skyrim. Rumor even has it that some of the faction members can still be seen fighting each other in locations to where the weapons may be contained.
