Much like it's Atmospheric cousin, The Thunder Explorer ION is a very agile ship useful for getting around the vaccum of space or planets with no atmosphere.

Able to accelerate and stop very quickly reduces your chances of slamming into that asteroid that looked tiny just a few seconds ago. Not only that, but it is capable of shifting its momentum very quickly, meaning you can turn around at max speed easily.
