i'll give you a suggestion for future use in case you decide to put things like grenade launchers and such in your weapons.
have the reload button be somewhere else other than RMB, something like Shift+LMB, so you can add stuff like melee or grenade launchers and have them being in RMB without obstructing how your guns are used.

i just hope you get to update this at some pont, and i'd like to offer some help for entirely free expecting no credit whatsoever, but i have no idea how to make mods or work with such, but i can make some pretty nice sprite art.

comming back and see that you will work on this now, omg i am so happy, i wish i could actually help you modding this thing for completely free, if i know anything about modding in this game, or any game, i love how this mod works tho, hope you add pistols and a better weapon modification system with crafting, that was just an idea.

Christ. I had no idea anyone had subscribed to this. I released this simply to allow my mates and I to test it, then stopped working on it shortly afterwards due to 'real life'. To come back and see that people had actually played with it and, god forbid, enjoyed playing with it, seriously warms my heart. I owe it to you guys to get this mod to a fully playable state and I promise to do so. CyberFox, I hereby declare this mod no longer dead!

the one thing i think it should be inplemented is that instead of crafting th vending machines, you should put an weapon shop in the outpost, selling the basic weapons such as AK47's and M16A1's and A2's(make M16A2 burst only, for sake of realism), guns like M4 and variants should be unlocked. or maybe a small space station you get to pick the signal at the game start or something, make it so you dont get your guns and ammo from vending machines, but from an actual vendor, that would be something.
also, i would love your mod to have a little storyline to go with special guns, unique weapons you get to keep and use or just put them in display, idk.

i take everything i said about your mod after playing with it for the past 5 hours, not only you have a functional ammo system with diferent types of ammo with diferent functionalities, and the guns are proportional to the player's body, it also has a selective fire feature, and support, for those who like to hear a warthog pass by just for fun, or literally incinerate your enemies with napalm, my only complaints are, the selector key is a bit weird, it wont allow me to walk and shoot because if i press shift it keeps changing the fire mode, and that it doesn´t have pistols, and one thing that you should put in mind is that you should include in the starting gear maybe a protectorate sidearm with ammo, or maybe a protectorate PDR, or both.

you sire, got my attention, i am a big fan of lyetzy gunners mod, and i am happy to see other people following such an exemple, i hope it still working past 1.4
