Description
Albion Vale by gomark

Albion Vale is a temperate custom map - two lakes, a flowing river with islands, accessible coastline, wooded/fertile ground, plenty of rolling hills, and some flatter central build plain for higher-density downtown if you like.

External connections used:
Highway - 3/4
Train - 2/4
2 short ferry loops
1 flight path

Play-tested to around 10k pop, no issues so far.

- AFAIK, there are two workshop items you actually *need* - namely the 10x10 Highway Roundabout and Network Extensions 2 for the national roads.

- That said, I'd highly recommend you DO use the NotSoRocky Hills theme, as it makes crags and cliffs look lovely.

- I've used about 3 vanilla tree/bush types, then added a couple of fairly low-tri (thanks Pdelmo!) downloaded vegetation assets here and there for optional detailing.

- The simple highway roundabouts are based on a custom-built asset (10x10 Highway Roundabout), which I've added to the workshop (https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1668500634).

- I'd also recommend at least a 25 tiles mod, or you'll have a job getting out to both lakes (personally I use 81 tiles so I can access all areas: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=576327847).

- Screenshots taken using Photorealistic_lut_final_by_Reaper (https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1199958905). I enjoy the slightly muted colours with this one. I also use Daylight Classic and the Clouds & Fog toggler mod, with everything except edge fog turned off.

*If anyone wants a version with fewer trees (c. 220k at the moment!), or even a completely vanilla version, then I'm happy to give that a go.

Cheers all, hope you like it.

My apologies folks, I didn't realise the national roads were a NExt2 feature. I've now added this to the required items list. :)

@Fxsxtxr Aha, thank you - I'll amend the description now. I thought it meant it didn't require mods (or paid DLC, but wasn't even sure about that second part tbqh!). Let me know how you get on, appreciate the feedback. Cheers :)

Looks good. I'm gonna give it a go but.. it's not vanilla. Vanilla means nothing required from the workshop :)
