The Hydraulic Suspension Tool allow you to create Wire Hydraulics from the coordinate-center of any prop, attached to a different one.



This makes for incredibly fast hydraulic setup for vehicle suspensions!

This tool is great for building vehicle suspensions, simply click the wheel first, and then click the base of your vehicle.
Click again to place the hydraulic controller and your setup is done! You can adjust the hydraulic using the hydraulic controller you placed lastly.



You can also alter the offset for the second point.

How to use:
Step 1: Left click on the prop you want the hydraulic to affect (eg. a wheel )
Step 2: Left click on a different prop, that you want to attach the hydraulic to ( NOTE: the hydraulic will not be attached to this props physical location however)
Step 3: Left click to place the Wire Controller
Your hydraulic suspension should now be done, and you can alter its settings like you would a regular wire hydraulic.



Can't find it:
The tool is located under "Physics" - "Construction" in the Wiremod toolmenu.
find "HydraulicSuspension", should be near the Wire Hydraulic tool.
Note: You need Wiremod installed for this tool to work!

Can i use the stuff i build on other servers?
Yes! If you've used this tool to build anything, it will work on other servers,
even if that server doesn't have this tool installed!
NOTE: The server is required to have Wiremod installed, however!

Hey, thank you for responding, I was looking over the tutorial once more and I noticed that in my haste I input wrong values in adv. ball socket and that was why it was freaking out, in the end I managed to get to it slowly and without issues, thank you :)

This tool only applies the Hydraulic setup to the wheel, so it only replaces the usual method of using Wire Hydraulics in builds like this. This means that you will have to setup a ballsocket on your wheel before or after using this tool.

If you have seen other tutorials that use Wire Hydraulic as a method of creating suspension for your wheel, this replaces the Wire Hydraulic step. If you want to use Elastic Suspension instead, I have another tool that creates the rope setup & elastic suspension for you. But this also will not do the ballsocket for you as these often vary widely in setup and use.

I am sorry if this will sound very dumb but I only ever made one working suspension with traditional means..
Am I supposed to set up my ball socket before using this tool? In other tutorials ball socket seems to be going after suspension
My car either has its wheels fall on it's side when they aren't spherical or it spazzes out hard-core with setang e2 seemingly making the wheels move to it's position..
