Jake Armitage and Friends

Description
****JAKE ARMITAGE AND FRIENDS (a SNES portrait pack)****

Hey everyone!

I have uploaded a couple alternate Armitage portraits based off of the SNES original, one with his shades and one without. Feel free to use them in your SNES campaigns and if you want you can even use him in your playthroughs of Dead Mans Switch. This previously was only a Jake Armitage portrait replacement, but I am republishing it to encompass the SNES cast.

These are refurbished from my originals (at http://brycecook.com/), I am sprucing them up to more match the game style.

Currently the cast includes:

Jake Armitage
Kitsune

Keep an eye out for many more portraits from the SNES original, as I update some older versions of my re-do's and expand the SNES portrait lineup.

I will also be making future portrait packs based upon themes from other games and storylines that you can use in your campains, like:

Halloweener Gang
Doc Wagon HTR (High-Threat Rescue)
Corporate packs
and many more.

So, remain patient, and I will see you in the shadows.

--== Dead Mans Switch Instructions==--

1. Locate the dead mans switch portrait folder, found in your Streaming Assets folder:
example: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Shadowrun Returns\Shadowrun_Data\StreamingAssets\ContentPacks

2. in Dead Mans Switch\art\portraits\, Jake can be found as npc_humanmale_jakearmitage.png

3. create a backup of the original, I just appended mine with a .bak

4. place the image from Jake_Armitage_SNES_Portrait\art\portraits in DMS folder and rename it to npc_humanmale_jakearmitage.png

5. Open SRR and enjoy!

Ok, thanks. I haven't played in quite a while. Is there someplace I can contact you about a licensing/usage question I have about one of your pictures?

Very nice. One I would love to see would be Joshua from the Genesis version. I only found one so far, but not nearly as good as the work you do.

You gonna be doing characters who share the same portrait in the SNES game? Like Hamfist and Orifice or Anders and Spatter? What will you do to differentiate them?

Take your time, I love how these pictures turned out! Can barely wait for more to appear!

Hey everyone, thanks for the praise. Just to update my progress on this: zero. Haha, its very difficult to juggle two jobs, two kids and a part-time project like this. I work full time as a game artist, and part time as a teacher, so when I get a chance to break away from that, I tend to like my freedom. Freeeedoooom! I still intend to return to this project at some point (its a flame that runs deep), but as of now it is back-burner. Thank you everyone, and keep on Shadowrunning!
