Quick Start (Linux, Mac, Windows)

Description
Description
You have seen the intro logos and have accepted the EULA a before. This mod takes you straight to the main menu. It also works with Linux, Mac, and Windows.

*** I guess it needed saying for some people: Mods are disabled by default until you enable them. Remember to enable the mod in the game options and it will work then-on. >_> ***

*** Sometimes there are updates to Civ VI and they can break this mod but if I'm let known, I'll update the mod. ***

Compatibility
I will try to always maintain backwards-compatibility, but my first concerns are the latest versions or editions.

*** This mod cannot work with any mod that modifies the same files. Most mods are not able to work with other mods that do that either. ***

Troubleshooting
If this mod does not work for you, please note what OS you are on (Linux, Mac, Windows) and what Expansion you are on. I'll follow up with a question regarding certain files so that I can add support shortly thereafter. Note, I do not own a Mac and can only rely on users to help in that regard.

*** I do have an idea about making this mod work forever across all versions regardless of OS or Expansions/DLC but I need to look into some things first. ***

Credits & Thanks
Thanks goes to the original author for inspiration, F'mble's Workshop, and to those that report a working or failing setup that is not previously known!
Special Thanks goes to The Red One, for bringing my attention to Microsoft Visual Studio Enterprise's fail at not showing me an option to keep the mod from being required in saves!

Forced 2FA Sucks
I refuse to use forced 2FA. I don't mind it as an option, I'll even use it if it is an option, but not if it is forced. A password should always be good enough for confirmation. Steam refuses to let me post regarding my own mods, don't expect a response in the threads anymore. I will, however, continue to update the mods. If they don't work, follow the trouble-shooting!

@Mark, The mod load order can also be problematic for mods with conflicts. Any conflict will break a mod, one or the other.

I re-downloaded your mod and it is working again! My guess one of the conflicting mods had an update...

@Mark, It's always best to disable all mods except the one you're having trouble with, that is how you eliminate whether it's a conflict or the mod itself. If a mod fails when all others are disabled then it's the mod. In this case the mod works fine, so it'll be one of your must-have mods.

Thanks for the respose! The thing is, all the mods I had worked fine with yours and I didn't add any other ones. What did change, is that the game no longer uses 2k launcher so I thought might be connected somehow. But thanks anyway, was one of my 'must have' mods for years!

@Mark, I just tested it again, it's fine. Sounds like a mod conflict, sadly. I don't maintain a list of conflicting mods, it'd be exhausting unfortunately.

@Mark, Perhaps another mod is conflicting. Try enabling -only- this mod and verifying all files.

Recently, I had to disable this plugin to get to the main menu screen (after verifying integrity of game files). The game can be launched but the main menu doesn't show. Not sure what causing it, plugin worked like charm for years.

@GamePlayer, Enjoy. :)

Simple but very helpful.

@StuManJim, Probably just by running it. 2K is particularly..."info-collect"-y, similar to Paradox Interactive. Surprised more games aren't copying Microsoft's level of "telemetry". *fury*
