• Changed character name to Wuzzy.
  
• Added Melissa - Wuzzy's own weapon: Melissa is a golden mace, named after the Ancient Greek goddess of bees. It has a high damage, but lowers as your hunger decreases. It also costs hunger per attack, so to utilize its high damage you have to eat often. Find more details below.
  
• Now the symbiotic bees will help Wuzzy keep warm in winter, based on the number of bees inside him. If there is no bee, he will be a bit more vulnerable to coldness, if it's full, he will gain some cold resistance.
  
• Wuzzy now can sense and gather pollen by picking flowers. Gathering each pollen gains him 5 sanity. After the pollen is picked, he can pick the flower, but with the cost of 10 sanity because he loves flowers so he doesn't want to hurt them.
  
• Instead of eating 5 petals to produce 1 honey, now Wuzzy eats 5 pollen to produce 1 honey.
  
• After pollinate flowers, bees will store pollen in the hive. Anyone can also store pollen in the hive.
  
• Every minute, the hive will try to produce maximum of 3 honeys from pollen. Each honey consumes 3-4 pollen.

• Less noisy bees. Wuzzy's bee followers will only buzz if they get into combat, otherwise they remain silent.
  
• New ability Parasites: when Wuzzy, worker bees or killer bees kill an enemy, from the dead body will spawn parasitic bees. The parasites are smaller, have half health, deal half damage, will follow Wuzzy and die after 30 seconds if not yet killed. The more health the enemy has, the more parasites will be spawned, up to 4.
  
• Bees and beehive now only attack monsters automatically if the player is nearby. With this, the beehive can focus on making honey even if you plant it near a spider den, and can help you farm spiders when you get close.

• Compatible with Don't Starve Hamlet and Shipwrecked.
  
• You can play RoG if config the world compatible with Hamlet or Shipwrecked.
  
• I'm working on RoG compatibility.

Wuzzy is the bee master, with his own family of bees. The bees are called Metapis (apis is bee in Latin, so Metapis means Metabee, just like Metahuman).

Stats

• Health : 175

Perks

• Is a bee : Obviously, he looks like a bee. He may not be chased by spring bees, but still trigger killer bee hive.
  
• Has his own beehive : He starts the game with a bee cocoon, which can be used to build his own unique beehive.
  
• Can produce honey by eating petals : After eating 5 petals, he will drop one honey.
  
• Has 30% chance to summon bees as followers on attack, maximum of 3. He has a pool of maximum 7 bees, when a bee is summoned, it takes some time based on his hunger to refill the pool.
  
• Gets bonus from eating honeyed foods, including honey, honey ham and honey nuggets.
  
• Runs faster in spring, slower in winter.
  
• More vulnerable to coldness.

Discussion
Wuzzy has low sanity, higher hunger rate, and lower damage to balance with his bees army. His beehive will try to protect him, spawn stronger bees with some abilities. The bees are quite useful to defend the base against small and medium monsters, but still very weak against bosses, so you should not depend on them too much. Also, like any other structures, the beehive will be taken down in 1 hit by The Bearger or Clockwork Rook.


Beehive

• Can be built from the bee cocoon in the starting inventory.
  
• Provides 10 sanity per minute when stand nearby.
  
• Is upgradeable by honeycombs and also growable.
  
• Repairs itself slowly.
  
• Has some speech lines.
  
• Releases bees to protect players.
  
• Can be hammered down.
  
• Drops bee cocoon on death or burnt, so it can be built up again.
  
• Has a storage that can only contain honey. Each 5 fully pollen collected bees will add 1 honey here. Honey will stop perishing when put into the hive.
  
• Has config for number of bees and their respawn time.

Bees

• Attack a bit faster than normal bees.
  
• Protect the players by attacking monsters or whatever is targeting players.
  
• Have abilities based on seasons : Spring - poison attack, Summer - explosion on death, Autumn - ranged suicidal attack, Winter - freeze, slow movement and attack.
  
• Still pollinate flowers like normal bees.
  
• Has config for damage output.

Pollen

• Is picked by Wuzzy from flowers.
  
• Is edible, but very minor benefit.
  
• Perishes in 10 days, but if it gets wet, it will perish 5 times faster.
  
• Stops perishing when put in the hive.

Honey Suit

• Indestructible, but perish over time like Ham Bat.
  
• Damage absorption from 30-55% based on spoilage.
  
• When hit, recovers (1% to 3%) * lost health + (1 to 3) HP per second for 5 seconds based on spoilage.
  
• Adds 1 to the maximum number of stored bees, and helps regen the bees up to 33% faster based on spoilage.
  
• Recipe : 10 logs, 1 rope, 3 honey.

Melissa

• Min damage: 34 (= spear damage), max damage: 76.5 (= 2.25 * spear damage)
  
• Cost 1% max hunger (min of 1) every attack until your hunger is below 15%. When your hunger is above 75%, Melissa deals max damage. When your hunger is below 75%, Melissa's damage is reduced, and reaches minimum when your hunger is below 15%.
  
• 200 uses
  
• Recipe: 2 twigs, 1 gold, 5 stings

Others

• Bee cocoon and beehive have map icon to locate more easily.
  
• In Hamlet, Temperate = Autumn, Lush = Spring, Humid = Winter and Aporkalypse = Summer.
  
• Wuzzy has a widget to show the current number of symbiotic bees inside Wuzzy and the regeneration progress. Works with Combined Status mod.
