Last Update: Era 6

Description
Explore the multi-cultural region of central europe and build a railway network that spans from Cologne in Germany to Lviv in Ukraine and Copenhagen in Denmark to Milan in Italy! This map includes the entirety of Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Switzerland, Austria, Hungary and Slovenia. It has flat and easy parts as well as more difficult hilly areas.

Features
- Size: 512x512 (Representing an area of 1290x1290km)
- Land Coverage: 82%
- 44 Largest cities / Urban areas with proportional correct population (~High Density)
- Hand placed Industries up to era VI except for post offices and shops (~Low Density)
- 41 Rivers
- Vegetation based on real world data (~Medium Density)

Industries
All industries are hand placed in sensible location and spread far apart for challenging long distance transportations:
- Factories near Cities
- Forests in well ... forests
- Coal and Iron mines around mountains and on top of hills
- Oil on the Coast and near rivers
- Farms on open plains

Countries
Besides the countries mentioned above the map also includes the Oblast Kaliningrad of Russia and large parts of Denmark, Lithuania, Kroatia, Serbia and Italy.

@bhstraub If you open the map in the map editor, do you see them then? If not you probably don't have the latest version. Or you might have started the scenario before 23. May. Mashinky cannot update a game that is already in progress.

I've enjoyed this map. However there seems to be a problem. I find that moving to era 6 does not place the limestone and concrete resources and industries on the map. The power plants are created.

@Sander: The game has a bug that spawns random towns at the start of the second and third era in custom maps. There is nothing I can do about that unfortunately.

Map is now updated to fifth era. Besides adding the new industries have I rearranged all other industries as well so that they more evenly spread across the map and that the first era is much easier. This should now make is possible to start in all parts of the map more easlily. (For example Italy now has access to a sawmill and a toolworks without needing to tunnel through the alps)
