Electric Stonecutting Table

Description
This mod adds an electrically powered version of the stone cutting table that works at 175% of normal vanilla speed.
Power shortages will knock your stonecutting speed down below the unpowered bench.

Requires research so the vanilla stone cutting table won't become immediately redundant.
Mod settings are included, so you can disable its own research(this way it unlocks with Electricity) or set the desired research points required, from 1 to the default 500.
The prerequisites are Stonecutting and Electricity.

Safe to be enabled in ongoing saves.

Compatible with all other mods that use the vanilla stonecutter table.

Hey i don't see the recipes of X mod in the Electric Table like i do in the vanilla stonecutting table, what's happening?

Well there's a 99% chance i need to patch it manually, so tell me which mod adds those recipes so i can make X mod compatible with Electric Stonecutting Table.

Alright guys:

-Improved mod settings with a "Disable research" toggle.
-Fixed the research tab not hiding when it was disabled.

If you were using the last version and set the research value to 0 and for some reason want the research back make sure to click the "Default" button once even if the "Disable research" toggle is off.

@Spinel , @Jacob

I do believe every player should be able to play the mods however they want, I'm just not that good at C#.

I wanted to do this for the longest time, so to please everyone, I just added mod settings where you can set the desired research points from 0 to the default 500.
The prerequisites Stonecutting and Electricity remain intact.

Basically if you set it to 0 after you research the vanilla Stonecutting and Electricity you will be able to construct the Electric Stonecutting Table immediately.

Independent technology trees are meaningless, please merge them if possible

With all due respect, I believe it might be more appropriate to remove the separate research requirement for the electric stonecutting table.
In vanilla RimWorld, we can see examples like the stove or tailoring bench — the non-electric versions are available from the start, and the electric versions are unlocked automatically once Electricity is researched.
However, the current implementation in your mod requires an additional, separate research step, which differs from the standard vanilla approach.
This can be particularly challenging when starting with the Tribal scenario, where players must first invest 3200 research points into Electricity, and then another 1000 points just for the electric stonecutting table.
I was wondering if this extra step was an intentional part of your design vision.

On 9 Apr, 2021 I removed the custom tab from research. If you mean completely remove the necessity to research the eletric stonecutting table, I haven't done it, so the vanilla stonecutting table doesn't become immediately redundant.

Hi developer, I was wondering if it might be better to include the Electric Stonecutting Table in the electricity research tree instead of giving it a separate research tab. What do you think?

Dear Sir or Madam,

I hope this comment finds you in good health. It came to my attention, that i am indebted to your genius to a rather surprising degree. Since not being able to rely on this mod in the latest downloadable content, i noticed a shocking lack of beautiful walls, doors and sculptures in the domicile of my peasantry. At this very moment, i hear them scratching on the bare stone walls and the rough ground, begging, nay crying out for the comfort of a beautifully sandstone clad lodging.

I simply must hope that you feel so inclined as to update this fine modification, that so deeply, although sneakily, ingrained itself into my style of playing this very game.

I remain with the best of regards,
Sir Bauer
