Billy Gunn (NJPW DLC)

Description
Billy Gunn started wrestling for the WWF in 1993 as one half of The Smoking Gunns with his kayfabe brother Bart. Billy would win the first 3 of his 11 tag team titles in WWF/WWE alongside Bart before starting a short singles run as Rockabilly.

Gunn began teaming with "Road Dogg" Jesse James in 1997 as the New Age Outlaws, and the duo would become members of D-Generation X in 1998.

Gunn began a brief singles push in 1999 after winning the King of the Ring tournament, and did capture the Intercontinental Title once in 2000.

In 2001, Gunn teamed up with Chuck Palumbo as a team that often hinted at a romantic relationship beyond their teamwork in-ring. Chuck proposed to Billy in September 2002, which Billy accepted. The ceremony was scheduled for the next week, but the wedding was revealed to be a publicity stunt before Billy and Chuck were beaten down by 3 Minute Warning at the behest of a disguised Eric Bischoff.

Gunn began appearing for TNA in 2005 as "The New Age Outlaw", a member of Planet Jarrett. The Outlaw would join up with the former Road Dogg, BG James, as The James Gang (and later Voodoo Kin Mafia), and changed his name to Kip James. Kip would later become Cute Kip when he joined The Beautiful People.

Gunn returned to WWE in 2012, and made a few in-ring appearances in late 2013 and 2014, including another WWE Tag Team Championship win with Road Dogg. After working as a trainer for a few years, Gunn went back to the independent circuit and even made a few appearances wretling for NJPW in 2016 and 2017.

Gunn is set to begin a roll as a producer for AEW in 2019.
