but this reminds me of cry of fear because i am 100% complete there but everytime i play it i scare myself to shit even after that much playtime

This is actually an interesting point that applies to a bunch of different games. I'm starting to slowly realize that I'm desensitizing myself to fictional digital eldritch horrors that would probably give a bunch of other people a slightly stronger reaction than me because I've been left clicking on them for fun in various games.
