RGB Vial Genemodding

Description
Changes the traits obtained from the disco_speed_demon_cat / Orbital Speed Demon / Alien Box / Red Green Blue vial event chain such that they can be genemodded onto other species in your empire. You'll only be able to apply the trait that you chose. Other civilizations can't spread the trait unless they also underwent this event chain, so you don't need to worry about your shiny new trait propagating across all species in the galaxy outside of your control.

As it stands the AI can remove (but not add) this trait if they get a hold of pops that have it, and I can't guarantee that they won't do so at the first opportunity as I don't think it's possible to mark cost 0 traits as beneficial. If you know how, let me know!

This mod is not achievement compatible as it changes the checksum. It's also incompatible with any other mod that changes the 04_species_traits file.

Last updated for 2.61. Backups of older versions are included. You'll have to recreate the mod structure yourself, but it's not too hard.

just fyi- the main set of traits has changed. they now have a flag as to whether they work for lithoids. without that flag the traits don't show up as options for lithoids.

an update whenever you get a chance would be appreciated!

This mod ought to be stable until the main set of traits gets changed, because it unfortunately has to overrule that file. The devs are good about not changing flag names even if they're obsolete (the red formula flags still talk about strength, for example), so that should be fine. And unless Distant Stars content gets a significant patch, Brainslugs ought to be stable forever.

Still, I'll try to double check that everything is still in working order and get the version numbers updated this weekend.
