River Ares 4v4

What is left of your people wash up on the banks of the river after tumbling down the mighty falls above. They fled famine and war in their homeland, hoping to find help. They found only ruin.

Now, after losing many of their loved ones and most of their possessions, you must lead these few survivors into an unfamiliar land and rebuild your once great empire.

The river and its nearby resources will provide for your immediate needs, but you must soon move inland. Be careful on the way, for dangers lurk on the path to greater riches.

Downriver you will find two bridges that allow the only way of passage across the water. Watch these closely, as you are surely not the only desperate people looking for new opportunity. New enemies may look to take what you have built for themselves.

This is a nomad map that supports up to 8 players on 2 teams. It is meant for human players as the AI can't seem to figure out what to do other than collect resources.

Players 1-4 are Team 1, players 5-8 are Team 2. This cannot be changed, even by choosing your team in the game lobby.

Each player starts with 4 villagers, 3 archers, 2 spearmen, and only 100 wood in resources.

All naval units have been disabled, with the exception of fishing ships and trade cogs. Cartography is granted at the start of the game.
