Chris Jericho (Classic)

Chris Jericho has been popular since his time in WCW in the mid-to-late-90's, but his popularity reached new heights when the former WCW Cruiserweight Champion showed up on WWF television and declared that "RAW IS JERICHO!" in 1999.

Since debuting with WWF (now WWE), Jericho has left to pursue other projects (including his band, Fozzy), but has always seemed to return and reinvent himself. He has frequently been in the Intercontinental title scene, but has also won multiple world titles.

In 2001, Jericho became the first ever Undisputed Champion when he defeated both The Rock and Steve Austin in the same night to unify the WWF Championship and the World Heavyweight (formerly WCW) Championship.

In his most recent return, Jericho teamed with his "best friend," Kevin Owens, helping Owens retain the Universal Title for several months before Owens betrayed him at the Festival of Friendship.

Jericho has not annoucned another WWE run in the near future, but is slated to take on Kenny Omega at Wrestle Kingdom 12 in early 2018.
