BACKGROUND
Well I made this mainly for the fun of it. I was a bit tired of making ships and after being completely blown away by this creation that had a ton of cool features. I was really interestred in the airtight hangar and how it worked. This is not a super serous build but people seemed interested so why not share? Its up to you to configure it the way you want! By that, it set up to be as basic as possible.

Ship in pictures RWI Polar Bear

DATA: MAIN HANGAR
Main hangar volume
14 blocks in width
53 blocks in depth
13 blocks in height
10 x Airvents
8 x Spotlights hanging from the main doors.
No connectors

DATA: FIGHTER HANGARS
The 16 fighter hangars
6x6 blocks in base
4 blocks in height
2x airvents per hangar

The main doors opens by triggering these timerblocks. Green to open, red closes. It works best on solid ground. The merge blocks are like magnets when within eatchers proximity and causes the whole multigrid to move along. Easily fixed by delaying the mergeblocks activation untill they nearly touch eatchother. As i stated earlier. Its up to you to edit these things to fit your needs.

A sensor is set to open and close for large or small grids. The large grid cant be too high as it might keep the door from closing due to the sensor range. Its easliy fixed by reducing the "back" value on the sensor.

PRO TIPS
Dont convert to station, but do ancor it to voxels (planets or asteroids). And
keep the moving parts clear from voxels.
Fave and like, is also recommended :P

BUILDING IN SURVIVAL

1. Spawn it first in creative mode with no block damage (You don’t need to turn block damage off, just in case) and have a look at how the rotor heads are orientated. (They have the notch mark at 0 degrees on all rotors they are connected to. So they are all set to 0 degrees when the doors are closed.

2. While in creative mode disconnect all rotors by pressing the disconnect button. Do this on all 8 rotors at the same time. Turn of the sensor.

3. Save 2 of the smaller grids that you disconnected. 2 grids that mirror each other.

4. Spawn this blueprint in survival. Build it up. You will get a warning saying that the sub grids won’t be projected or whatever. Ignore it and project it anyways. Make sure that the sensor will not detect any large or small grids as it will dissconnect the merge blocks that keeps the doors sealed. Or just turn it off.

5. Set a timer block to “Attach” all rotors and trigger it self each second. By Doing this you can build the door arms seperatly and fly it in with a smaller ship, hold it in place until it snaps to place. Be careful, it might throw your ship around if you come in at a bad angle. Use a landing gear to lift the pieces. When all four arms are attached, turn of the timer block that you set up earlier. You don’t need it when all 8 rotors have a rotor head attached.

@Alvargon

First you get out of your ship, open the doors, get in to your ship, fly it in, get out again and close the doors.

As it says in the description, this is a module. There is instructions on how it works so you can modify it yourself.
I really don’t get it why you are complaining, nor what else you’re trying to write.

@FLYGTUR Tedious? More than have to use the control panel for open the internal hangar doors (by divination by the way) and the timers it selfs instead a simple boton? WTF? XD

Put an antenna for example, for use the big door remotely.

@Alvargon
...it’s tedious

It works fine but. You don't use a button for hangar door and big hangar door because...?

@EMPIREVSREBLES

I’m sorry. If that doesn’t help, you will have to figure it out by yourself.

yeah

@EMPIREVSREBLES

Did you follow the pro tips?

I can't make it work I tried the timer blocks

Updated the description. On step 2 modify the size to your liking and save as blueprint. Should work as before if you keep the edges.

So I can put this into a survival world, how would I go about building one of these for myself? If I wanted to make it larger.
