In every world you need leaves, water and a world-specific ingredient.
Forest and ice world = pine cones
Desert = coconut
Underground = mushrooms

Although there are three recipes pictured above, only one is available in each world.

Garbage mod, introduced new items and changed recipes but did not actually have access to any of the items in question. Case in point, Rice does not exist in the game and there is no way to get it, even from the shop, so making flour, beer, or anything that required flour was impossible, as it destroyed the ability to even buy flour from the shop.
