Description
Features:
  • Climb all mountains in the Barren Expanse!
  • Zoom around at 262+ km/h!
  • Flip & roll using the reaction wheels (arrow keys)!

Can you climb all the mountains in the Barren Expanse? Or will you fall more dramatically than anyone else using full control over flips? Don't forget to remove the cannons for optimal racing performance!
When dropping from great height, release thrust before landing & it will be very hard to break. If you land on your wheels, it can withstand 100+ block drops!

Want even more speed? Take to the skies with this fast, stable gyrodyne (compound heli)! Recommended for beginners to learn flying, and for experts to break some records on racing maps.

Controls
  • TFGH – Thrust and steer
  • Arrow keys – Lean whichever direction you want (pitch & roll)
  • Y - Shoot
  • UJ - Aim cannons
  • EX21 - Cameras

While trying to build a good vanilla racer, I noticed cars in Besiege have a tendency to bounce around, and that's really hard to get rid of unless you make a heavy car, which wouldn't be good for climbing mountains. So I decided to embrace the bounciness and ended up with this "rock hopper" type of vehicle, that worked surprisingly well, and could climb any mountain in the Barren Expanse & Sandbox, if the driver pays enough attention. Watch the video to see me do flips, climbing (and falling off) mountains. Hope you'll have as much fun with this buggy as I had while making it!

Note: The 4.00x power cannons in vanilla were done by copying the 4.00x power from a shrapnel cannon to it. You can also use this trick for 2.00x speed on flying spirals using wheels, and 10x speed on winches using springs.

Thank you Ross! I've always been building in Besiege, but due to video editor trouble (and study) not uploaded consistently

I'm glad to see you're still building! Not only can this climb, it can also survive really high falls. Excellent machine! :steamhappy:
