Description

Allows planting mutliple tree seeds at once.

What is this?

A magical staff able to quickly plant tree seeds - Pine Cones, Twiggy Tree Cones, Birchnuts, Palmcone Sprouts and Marble Beans.

How do I get it?

Prototype at Shadow Manipulator. Available in filters: Magic, Tools, Modded Items. Costs 3 Pine Cones and 1 Living Log

How do I use it?

1. Fill staff's inventory with tree seeds,
2. Stand in the middle of area where you want trees to be planted,
3. Upon equipping the staff you will see preview of the area where plantables will spawn
4. Cast a spell and watch trees pop out of the ground!

What should I know?

Sprout Staff has no durability and has a slot that accepts tree seeds,
When spell is cast, tree saplings will spawn in an area around you,
The amount of tree saplings spawned corresponds to amount of tree seeds consumed by spell,
Regular rules of where tree saplings are able to be planted are applied,
Sprout Staff will drain 0.5 Hunger for each tree seed it was able to plant (switch to sanity in Configuration Options)
While staff is on the ground player can right click on it to Cycle through available area shapes

Shapes

Organic shape: plants spawn randomly around the caster
Rectangular shape: the highest possible density of plants on a 4x10 grid, longer side aligns with the North East - South West axis
Rectangular Inverted shape: the highest possible density of plants on a 4x10 grid, longer side aligns with the North West - South East axis

Challenge Mode

You can enable Challenge Mode in the configuration options:
The spell makes tree saplings suddenly sprout from the ground. All the traction may cause some of the saplings to heat up really quick and start smoldering! Extinguish them quickly before they catch fire and spread to other tree saplings!
