Most map makers moved to the DE now.
I didn't actually manage to kill the hero elephants, but apparently stalling them long enough works, too.
Unfortunately, the second scenario on DE keeps crashing my game after the intro story menu. Hope you can look into that.
I intended to keep the historicity of the scenario, that's why I included that hint. That was the original Byzantine plan, but the walls were breached at night and the population slaughtered. There is no other attack to strike after since the scenario is won after the last wave is successfully repelled.
To be honest, Savars are going to be in my next scenario which is being designed in AOE 2 : DE version. Hope you would enjoy that too! Happy Gaming.
I feel like Savarans would've been more fitting than Jarls for the Persians, I'm guessing Aberdougabades must' have been Hephthalite in real life since his player's Mongol.
@JRichter, hopefully, when the new AOE II:DE is out.
How are the players supposed to know, IF this is the case (because triggers), than the second gate should not be accessible by the player completely, to avoid this.
(Palisades that get destroyed after the last wave, trigger that send player's units back if they enter the area, etc.).
Because when you are playing a defense mission blind, you kinda assume that you have to defend both gates.
