Description

Updated to version 2.2

New pyramid and cylindar structures.

NEW TERRAIN BUILDER! - build entire worlds with just a few clicks and a little learning paitence.

Can now place air blocks, or structures made out of air blocks for fast carving.

added "reserved" block textures for any new texture blocks released by the Game Builder devs.

added snow block.

bug fixes:
line, floors, and other structures no longer drop to the ground level and you can now build them at the height where you stand.
the only tool not compatible with multiplayer is the Terrain builder.

Rooms now carve out any blocks that they are placed around so you have a nice clean empty room.
bug: they don't always have roofs or floors.

Terrain Builder:

Number of seeds:
a seed is a mountain top.
it will be laid between minimum and maximum height.
smoothness is how much it spreads out on the way down. Zero smoothing will just leave one block hanging in the air. 1 smoothness will turn the seed into a tower. more than that and you get hills or mountains.

Slopes and corners:
the ramps that go up the sides of hills. off for minecraft style layers, on for ramps from level to level.

Cave Carving - BETA! keep the cave numbers small or you will be waiting a long long time. you can build better caves by using the various build tools available and setting your build block to 0-Air

"Block Floor" covers the entire floor with blocks. you rarely will need this.

"Place empty cells" will delete all blocks between Max Height and the default floor as new material is being built.
with this off, you may place one terrain on top of another and merge them together. If you are only building one terrain on your map then you do not need it on, it will just increase your build time placing air on top of air.

try various settings, you will make some really interesting worlds.

WARNINGS:
-------------------------------------------------
do NOT over build your height / smoothness combo. If you place more than 250,000 blocks then you will RUIN your map. When you reload it you will fall through the floor with no real chance of easily repairing it.
If you intend to use the Terrain Build tool then it should be the very first thing you do on a map.
The higher you build, the lower you should set your smoothness and the fewer seeds you should use. Or else you will build a big map that you will never be able to use.

This item appears to be out of date.
Unfourtinatly, i am no longer using Game Builder due to a hetic life.
Maybe someone would enjoy ripping it apart and updating it?

It's not designed for multiplayer -
BUT it will work in multiplayer without the player hosting needing any scripts from you,
but if you build too large of a section at once then you are likely to get disconnected.
so keep your build sizes small in multiplayer, just build small sections at a time.

V2 is in the works and that one will be multiplayer compatible for sure due to popular demand.

To use this builder tool, do you have to make the game in the server with the build tool or can it go to different servers?

quick hotfix update. Forgot to mention in the info text box that E is the build key.
