CM Hover UTE II-L5 Starter HV

Description
Not pretty, fast, or tough, the CM Hover UTE II is a basic starter utility hover vessel...

It is designed to be cheap and quick to build...whilst still being very easy and again, cheap, to upgrade.

Whilst it is cheap, its not the cheapest...Because it comes with everything you can make at Level 5 to help you survive

It has the latest Logistics Cargo ,Ammo and Harvest containers...and enough extensions on them to make them useful.

It also has a Mobile Constructor and a Detector built in.

O2 tank, ventilator and Station make this useable on the arid starter planet too.

And, of course, an Armour Locker and Fridge will let you stay safer and keep well fed.

Finally up front there are a pair of Gatlings and a Harvest module to hel keep you headig out.

Whilst it looks ugly with the open frame and tress work...It is built to be as light as it can be for the hover thrusters and new cargo weight limits...though it is still easy to overload it when you are gathering up those needed ores, SO...Part of the design was to make it very easy to upgrade in the field...Replace the Hover Thrusters with Hover Engines, add two RCS blocks and at least 6 small Thrusters for your mobillity upgrade...after that there is space to add in a med station (right side of the cockpit ...remove two of the lights first), and its relatively cheap to recover the tress work and replace it with steel blocks...But do the mobility upgrade first :)

An Upgraded CM Hover UTE III is available here

and is shown in the last picture at Tech Level 7 But it is only one way to go to make this Faster, Tougher and a lot more useful to support your ongoing survival..Oh...and it looks a lot prettier too!.

CharlesMacro introduced me to this vessel, AWESOME how cheap it is! Gives the freedom to upgrade whatever you want when the mats come available. I'm using your 'junkyard' version atm, upgraded the engines & put a RCS in it. Really love the way you build, going to give your SV a try as well (I'm just horrible at building..)

Hehe...it looks straight out of a junkyard...but it'll do the job...and you can pretty it up later :)
