Description
The Giant was initially billed as the son of Andre the Giant and part of the Dungeon of Doom. In his first match, The Giant defeated Hulk Hogan via DQ and won the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. The Giant would vacate the title due to the circumstances in which it was won, but he recaptured WCW's top title in 1996 after defeating Ric Flair.

When the nWo formed, The Giant was an early target, and he lost the title to Hogan. A few weeks later, however, The Giant joined the stable and remained a member until he left for WWF (to become Big Show) in 1999.
