1. Find Dead Space on Steam
2. Right click to properties
3. In General click Set launch options
4. --set /Config/CONFIG/maxFpsValue 60
5. Click OK and you're done.
(optional)
You can change 60 to any number for your refresh rate but beware anything above 100 frame will make your game acceptable to bugs and issues again.

No, I mean that this did not raise the max fps value. It was still around 180. I had to use the Nvidia control panel .

Games engine is based around frame rate of 30. Anything higher can make it bug out and make things not work. This fix is mostly based towards the door glitches, physic errors and event delays. Anything else you might have to look somewhere else.
