The Holy Fist (Rebalance + Start Mod)

Did it ever annoy you that the Holy and Unholy Chestplate have gauntlets as part of the model, but you never got any fist protection from wearing them? It infuriated me more when I saw Mercenary Plate get a protection bonus despite having much less visible hand protection.

This mod is my simple solution. It changes Unholy and Holy Chestplate from having a -10 penalty to Martial Arts to only -5, as well as providing 80% fist protection, arguably making them the most viable heavy armour for martial arts. Not perfect, but nothing to scoff at.

I also decided to go a step further and introduce a new starting scenario, known as The Holy Fist, with its own pros and cons. You start as a Greenlander at Blister Hill, with a decent set of armour and generous (but not too generous) starting stats and skills. It comes with its own backstory, and you even start with a custom book I added for laughs which you can keep or sell. Holy Nation should like you (even if you're a woman), but all manner of local bandit, rebirth slaves, and flotsam ninjas will hate your guts.

Might update in the future to make a bigger mod that revolves around The Holy Fist as a school of martial arts, but as of right now I have no plans to do so. Enjoy, and don't forget to join the LoFi-endorsed Discord server. :)
