Dunedin, New Zealand

This is my recreation of Dunedin, my home town.

Dunedin is on the East Coast of the South Island of New Zealand. It is a university town with a thriving rural and agricultural sector.

I have tried to make this as close as reasonable to the real city - a great deal of streets are in the correct places, where possible. The extremely steep terrain made this difficult - the world's steepest street, Baldwin Street, is in Dunedin, and I've attempted to reconstruct it here as well.

A few things that I note are indeed intentionally wrong - the waste water treatment plants are not in the correct place (there isn't just enough space for them where they'd really be), and because of the size of the airport, Mosgiel is both too small and not quite where it should be.

That and the population is only half of the real city's 120,000.

I have avoided using mods and assets in this - a few city landmarks have not been properly recreated because of this. I may make another version with simulacra of these. The only mod that is outright required to enjoy this is the 81 tile mod.
