Cool, that's good to see.

I read your comment and did some thinking, and you're right. For some reason I thought private healthcare in the game meant private insurances, thus I removed the private healthcare effect. I also reduced the poverty effect to balance the mod and because people would still have to pay premiums for a state health insurance.

It also doesn't make sense for it to reduce Private Healthcare. After all, it increases funding for health coverage, so more money is going to providers overall (even if the average reimbursement goes down, more payments are being made). Perhaps you should instead implement a Simulation specifically for Private Health Insurance. Private Health Insurance would increase Private Healthcare, but Private Health Insurance would go down if State Health Insurance is funded more. The result is that if you give State Health Insurance a little bit of funding then poverty would go down a bit but Private Healthcare would go down a bit since reimbursements are very low to reduce costs. But if you funded it sufficiently then Private Healthcare would go up since reimbursements are adequate. Of course, adequate reimbursements would require quite a bit of funding.

Ok,, tried it out after you allowed manual download. So far I think it is a good concept, but I think that the State Health Insurance policy is a little too cheap for what it does. Are we assuming that this public option is supposed to run at a break-even, with all of its funding coming from premiums and none from taxes? If that's the case, then it makes sense for it to be cheap, but it should also reduce poverty less.

I have posted the manual download option. Thanks for the notification.

Yeah, the description shows it's 0 MB which means it doesn't download correctly. I have the same problem with my mod and I couldn't find a way around it so I just put up a link to manually download it. Any chance you could do the same?
