Weapons+

Description
This has been updated for RimWorld 1.5

This mod adds more weapons with unique stats and textures. Currently it only adds 19 more weapons, but I intend to increase this number as time goes on. Every weapon has been balanced for vanilla gameply.

The weapons this mod adds are as follows:

Knives

Primitive Knive
Kukri
Kunai (Throwable)

Swords

Katana
Claymore
Zweihander
Sabre

Hammers

Morning Star
Maul

Chain

Flail
Nunchaku

Polearms

Bardiche
Glaive
Naginata
Bo Staff
Scythe

Axes

Great Axe

Striking

Brass Knuckles
Tonfa

Most of the weapons can be crafted at the smithy, while some are craftable at both the smithy and the crafting spot. Some require the long blades research, and I plan to add new research that'll be required as I add more varieties of weapons.

This mod should be compatible with most all other mods, and it doesn't require a new save to be made.

Please let me know if you find any bugs, or find any weapons to be unbalanced in any way. I'll also glady take weapon recommendations and add them to my list of possible additions. I hope to have, at least, over 30 weapons in the mod eventually. I do not, however, plan to add any guns to the mod. Slings, bows, thrown weapons--sure, but there are already plenty of great mods that add more guns into the game. (I use Project Armory, myself.)

One of the discussion pages for this mod contains a download link for non-Steam users, thanks to Enzolio, who took the time to upload it for me.

@Balthazad It's probably as easy as changing the supported version number in the config file. The problem is then I have to download RimWorld, update the number, test that nothing broke, track the changes properly, upload the mod to Steam, update the mod page to indicate that it's been updated, and then do that like...8 more times for my other mods.

@Kikabopom
All you need to do is use RimPy to make a local copy of the mod, then edit its ABOUT file to have 1.5 as one of its supported versions. And it should work. In fact, I'll go do that right now.
