Roleplay Center

Description
Role Play Center is a harsh prison dominated by four major gangs, waving war at each other. These groups have their own way of getting ahead of the game. Some use dirty tricks, others stealth, brain or brawn, they’ve all learned how to get away with it. Then there is the rumors of something cooking behind the guard’s back, rumors that some mayor players from each gang want out. This of course makes the guards on edge, as the inmates smuggle, beat, sneak and steal under their noses. Would you be able to escape the prison with your new found allies? What is it that your gang has to offer?

How to Play on RP Center:
RP Center can be played as a regular break but it was designed to be more of a “multiplayer roleplay mode”. Every room was created to tell a story, like a stage where roleplayers are be able to portray a member of one of four different gangs, each one of them with some simple but unique lore, theme and gaming style. The prison is filled with handcrafted details and story fuel. Everything is set, but the roleplay aspect will come from players themselves, so character background, personality and motivations are up to you!
Whenever you schedule or join a RP Center game, make sure to let other players know that you are expecting/playing “Roleplay Mode”, so you are all on the same page. You might have to coordinate games beforehand with a couple of friends or internet people to make sure you get the best experience out of this game mode. Embrace the challenge of escaping according to your gang’s tenets and see how your fellow accomplices can bring something new to the table.

Red Devils (Diablos Rojos)
Controls the cellblocks on the Red corner, over the northeast.
They love a good fight, anytime, anywhere and anyone!

A wild group of savage fighters and troublemakers. If you are looking for some weapon or want someone gone, the Devils are the guys to ask for it. Their territory is fortified and ideal for concealed fights, which they organize/bait. Hated by guards and feared by the inmates, they push their way to the top and get whatever they want, when they want it. Welcome to the jungle.

How to roleplay a Red Devil:
If all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail. As a Red Devil you are buffed and prone to solve things the tough way, whenever you are insulted or offended, you will answer with your fists or any weapon you have without hesitation. Hell, you might start the fight yourself most of the time. Backing off a brawl is a sign of weakness that a Red can’t afford. If you need stuff, you can take them from your beaten up victim or even ask the Golden Club for some goodies in exchange of protection. Whatever happens, make sure to show off that nobody, not even guards, messes with the Devils.

Green Snakes
Controls the cellblocks on the Green corner, over the southeast.
You’ll never see them coming. Or going.

The Snakes mastered avoiding unwanted attention while doing their mischief. They move in the shadows of the night, sneaking past guards and spotlights. If you want to fight them, you’ll have to catch them first. They bolt and can disappear behind any corner, anytime. Their territory is filled with hiding spots and secret passages for an elegant exit, an ambush or even night incursions in search of the real loot.
How to roleplay a Green Snake:
As a Green Snakes you’ll be a shadow for the most part, relying on stealth and disguise to smuggle what you need for the break out, making use of hiding spots and secret passages and exploiting your high speed to run away from trouble. You don’t waste your time working menial jobs, favors or stealing other lowlifes. You know how to get into the forbidden areas where the good stuff is.

Blue Bastards
Controls the cellblocks on the Blue corner, over the southwest.

The dirty Bastards don’t give a crap about authority, routines or private property. An opportunistic bunch that lives on unemployment checks, random favors and what they can “borrow”. Bold and reckless, they will loot everything not nailed down, including fallen inmates and guards. Their territory is perfect for quick maneuver, fist fights and loot stash. It’s also kind of gross. If there is a lockdown, there is a good chance a Blue Bastard is missing or making some trouble.

How to roleplay a Blue Bastard:
As a Blue Bastards you bribe dirty guards, steal from the rich, do petty favors for the needy, fight the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and walk in like a champ. Just whatever it takes not to do a lousy prison job. The real work is crime, after all. As a Bastard you will find yourself in trouble often, but it will prove to be the most adaptable of all gangs. Whatever it needs to be done, you can do it. Probably.

Golden Club
Controls the cellblocks on the Yellow corner, over the northwest.
Money makes the world go around, and it’s no different in prison. If you have good connections in the right places, money is there for the taking. The Golden Club has the most intelligent and craftier of inmates, hoarding the best jobs and doing expensive favors in crafty ways. They buy whatever they need, even influence and loyalties. Cameras and guards are their friends, and those who are bribed even more so. Whenever you need to buy or sell, GC is the real deal.

How to Roleplay a Golden Club:
As a Golden Club you buy and bribe your way out of prison. Study hard and get the best jobs. Stay good with cops, not just obeying, but bribing them with cool things. Buy inmate’s loyalty as well. Any dirty jobs that needs to be done, can be paid for with your wealth. Anyone thinks you are a pushover? Let them “talk” with your minions, change their minds. Everybody wants to rule the prison, but only the ones with the gold can afford it.

It is supposed to be a tough prison, specially at the begining. Depending on the gang you start you can adress violent inmates in different ways: as a Red Devil you should be maxing out strenght and getting some weapons. You'll still have plenty of enemies, but you can manage them better and get some "loot" If done correctly -as you can always lure them into your private Fight Club;

As a Green Snake you should be maxing out your speed and getting to know your hiding spots, so you can get away easily -again, your own quarters should be a safe heaven for you;

As a Golden Club you should buy their loyalty with money and gifts, this goes for guards as well and -you guessed it, your home cellblock is also your ally, since the cameras and friendly guards will have your back (even in the VIP cafeteria).

As a Blue Bastard anything goes, beat'em up, bribe the guards, sucker punch them or run away, just adapt the way you see fit. Whatever it takes to survive.

After some time in the center things will start to get easier, but never easy. But you do have playsiles and resources to make life in hell a little better. Happy escape!
