Ajax Asteroid Mining Base (Vanilla)

Description
Ajax Industries has established a deep-space mining outpost for resource acquisition and refinement. To ensure survivability and longevity, the base has been embedded into an asteroid. State of the art technologies ensures that the interior of the asteroid remains pressurized for human survivability.

The base is stocked with supplies to help the team assigned to the base to begin construction on small projects. Additionally, the base is outfitted with twelve brand new Ajax Auto Miner Semi-Autonomous drone units, and a Hercules Class defensive frigate for use when the base's defenses are not adequate to deter threats.

-----------------

I created this base with multiplayer in mind. There is room enough for 8 crew members.
4 crew members for the command room, and 4 crew members to take care of construction and retrieval of drones.
**Vanilla Construction**

Base Compartments
----------------------------
* Control Room
* Medical with Cyro
* Cargo Storage
* Assembler Room
* Ship docking port (Capacity: 1 large ship)
* Refinery
* Hangar Bay (Capacity: 4 small ships)
* Reactor Room
* Ajax Auto Miner Docking port (Capacity: 12)

The main feature of this base are the semi-autonomous mining drones

Steps for using Auto Miners
=====================
Current Max range: 25,000 meters // Total Units: 12

*Control chairs on the lower levels each have four of twelve Auto Miners attached
*Sit in the chair and use the tool bar to launch an Auto miner.
*Take control of the autominer through the remote access menu (press K, look in upper left corner)

Autominer Controls:
1) View Front Camera
2) Start Auto-mining
3) Turn on connector (for docking).
NOTE: Lock the connector as normal with P
4) View docking camera
5) Return to base

*Fly close to an asteroid and find a good place to mine.
*Angle your front end toward the asteroid and then approach slowly. Press 2 to start auto-mining.
NOTE: You can leave it alone at this point.
*The Autominer will return to base when finished.
*Take control of the autominer again from the remote access menu and redock the ship once it has returned.

These notes are on a display screen in the control room in case you need a reference.

Additional Notes:
----------------------
1) Could be kind of hard to dock the mining drones from the control chair. Instead, use the control chair to fly the drone in close, and then have a friend dock it for you from the catwalk near the docking area for the mining drones.
2) If you have an excess of cargo storage, the mining drones can get overladen very quickly, and then they'll fly poorly. Try to keep the cargo capacity down to 10x or below. The lower it is, the lesser the mass, the better they fly.
3) You can increase the range of the drones by simply increasing the broadcast range of the antennas on the drones. Maximum possible range is 50 km. Any further than that, and you risk losing control of your drone forever.
4) Fly slowly and be careful. The drones are built for high-capacity hauling. They will not stop fast, so guide it in gently. That includes when going out to mine as well.
5) The maximum speed when flying autonomously is set to 25 m/s. This is relatively slow, but I felt it was a good speed to assist with collision avoidance. If you wish to increase the speed, simply do so from the K menu in the remote control block.
6) I built the drones to bore holes into rocks. If you'd like to use a couple for surface mining, feel free to switch up the G menu a bit.
7) The drones were built using NO SCRIPTS. I used timer blocks instead, so you can use them in a world with no scripts if you'd like.

Thank you! Enjoy!
