[HullTec] Thanatos Class Carrier

DESCRIPTION

- Faction: Nova League
- Class: Large Fleet Carrier

- 30800 PCU
- 9500 blocks

The Thanatos Class Carrier is the Nova League's largest carrier. It has a lift in the rear section, where a fighter can land on to be brought to the hangar. The ships can then leave the hangar through the front hangar door. (one way system).
The Carrier has 40mm Bofor Turrets to defend itself from enemy bombers. It has no large ship cannons.

LOADOUT:

- several rooms and sections, observation decks
- ion thrusters
- hydrogen thrusters
- 4x hydrogen tanks
- lots of o2/h2 generators
- 2x large reactor
- 4x jump drive
- cryo chamber
- medical room
- refineries, assemblers, modules etc.
- lots of different lcd displays with detailed information about your ship
- etc..

Lift
Whenever you land on the lift with a small grid ship (except enemy ships), the lift sequence will be activated. Make sure to lock your landing gears on the lift or it will lower itself without your ship. deactivating your fighter's thrusters is also helpful (but not necessary).

- whenever you start the opening sequence, the hangar will first depressurize for 10 seconds, before the hangar opens.
- opening sequence is indicated by blinking red warning lights
- my largest fighter, the F32 Starlancer fits on the lift without a problem (see video)

As always, I will revisit this ship in a few days an make some design- and technical updates. But it works for now.

upcoming changes:
- add some resources to the cargo containers
- reduce uranium to ~500 ingots
- rename and regroup some blocks (like thrusters)
- configure menus of all the control seats (turrets, hangar, bridge etc)
- improve interior design (better edges, more details, better lighting etc)
- adjust LCD displays
- maybe add 2 more hydrogen tanks
- etc.
