Description
A two floor base with 8 rooms fit to be filled with utility devices. Every room has an access point to the conveyor system, so it should be easy to organize the base the way you want it.

An elevator takes you to the first floor, 15 meter above ground level. Start the elevator by activating the 'A SB Elevator' switch board. To go down again just deactivate. (Don't forget to delete the jack tool before use.)

Some of the conveyor pipes the elevator is build with are part of the active conveyor system. There are two access points on ground level which can be used to connect the base to mining rigs or water pumps.

Switches:

Red: power, terminals & beacon
Blue: elevator
Green: lights

Uranium Generator
Flat solar panel x36
Terminal x5
Compact Container x20
Large Container
Stasis Chamber
Beacon

If you want to build a base of your own with an elevator, you can find the one used in this base here: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1562922737.

A multiple level elevator can be found here: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1543624833.

Thank you, we will wait Thermor

I'm glad you like it.

The devs changed the weather effects a few updates ago and now being inside isn't enough to protect you from extreme cold or heat. I hope the Thermor block they announced will come soon, it should make living in the desert or at the poles possible again.

Marcus, thanks for the excellent base, very good work.
Although I still do not understand the physics of the game, in an open space the character suffers from cold, heat or acid rain. Once in the building, it weakens, but the icon does not disappear completely cold or hot, although it is logical to assume that in a building with an operating electric generator the effect should disappear with time completely cold or hot.

Okay, I just published an updated version that should work as intended.

If you want to repair the building in your game open any working terminal, rename Switch Board 3 to 'A SB Elevator' and deactivate that switch board.

If you accidentally disconnected the winches, the elevator cage should be on the ground. Breaking a window above the cage gives you access to the elevator shaft. There you can easily reconnect the winches to the cage.

I hope this solves the problem. The easiest way of course is to go to an earlier save and replicate the building anew. Let me know if you finally can enjoy the building...

I've done as you had suggested, now the winches for some reason have disconnected i think because now no activity to elevator at all i even reactivated the terminal. nothing.

Of course you can deactivate the 'A SB Elevator' switch board before deleting the jack, then the elevator won't fly up instantly. Didn't think about that before. :steamfacepalm:

I think the 'A SB Elevator' switch board may be set to active, so when you delete the jack tool the elevator takes off to the upper floor. Deactivating A SB Elevator in the terminal next to the door will call the elevator back to ground level.

If that doesn't work let me know because then there is a real problem. :steamhappy:
