I have the current best survival time in Crate Chaos (all power-ups mingled) with 548.46 seconds and i decided to share my experience with people, so here is a guide for Crate Chaos. This guide is here to teach you some tips and tricks that you could use to survive longer in Crate Chaos.

Use your shadow

Your shadow shows your position when you're over a box. It means that if you see your shadow on a box and that you're not moving, you will fall on it.

Be ready to have a box spawning anywhere

The boxes spawn randomly, so it can spawn in front of you as it can spawn on your sides or even behind you. If you don't see the box spawning at first, turn the camera until you see it, fast if possible.

Have a good trajectory

The best way to keep a good trajectory is to have the box behind your ball on your screen and then moving forward.
Of course, if the box spawns really close, you don't really need to do this.

Keep a good angle of view

The angle of view is important so that you can see both the distance between your ball and the box and also your height.
If you look perpendiculary to the ground or horizontally, it won't work, in the first case you won't really know your height and in the second case you might have problems to calculate the distance.

So, it's recommended to keep an angle of view close to 45°, so between 30° and 60°.

In case the box spawns really close to you, you can look perpendiculary to have a great control over your ball and its position (using shadow), but it doesn't work when the box is far.

Act differently in function of the distance

When a box spawns close, do small movements, don't hold the keys, because you might go too far.
When a box spawns far, hold the forward key so that you go far enough.

Use your power-ups

Power Brake : When you're over a box, you can use it to stop your ball and fall right on the box.
Double Jump : If you miss a box or gonna miss, you can use it to have another chance of jumping on the box.
Teleport Beacon : It isn't that useful in Crate Chaos, it might be used occasionnally, but well nothing more.

Fall Break

The fall break consists in breaking your fall to win some time and so exploding less boxes in the same duration.
You can perform it with ether Power Break and Double Jump. The Power Break is safier, but the Double Jump make you win more time.
It consists of using the powerup while being falling, to break the fall and so reset your falling speed to 0. You win the most time possible when performing it in the middle of the fall with Power Break and a bit after the middle of the fall with the Double Jump.

When using Power Break, care when using it at the end of the fall, just before touching the box, if you perform it a bit too late, after the box exploded, it will stop you from the jump and so make you fall.
