Description
Shaostoul presents: Spotlight Turrets
Expanding your universe since May 2014!

Idea by and commissioned by: Clam70

These are behave exactly like normal rocket turrets except they don't shoot rockets, they're spotlights. They have all the functionality of rocket turret, minus the shooting of things. You can configure tracking of specific objects or control them yourself.

FAIR WARNING
This mod is still in the process of getting made to work properly. Please make sure you report any issues you may encounter. If you're encountering an issue, please make sure you can replicate this error on an empty map with only this mod. If your error is occurring as a result of another mod, please figure out which mod it is through process of elimination and let me know, so I can mark it under incompatible mods and hopefully over time we can make them work together.

Feel free to use the code, just let me know when you get it uploaded so I can see your artwork. :)

Mod details:
All blocks are in a "Shaostoul" tab.
Large and small ship

Available blocks:
1 Spotlight Turret

Until I can add config options to the turret, the spotlights are fixed at these values.
Large Spotlight Stats:
Light Radius: 20m
Light Range: 1200m
Light Falloff: 1
Light Intensity: 1

Small Spotlight Stats:
Light Radius: 10m
Light Range: 400m
Light Falloff: 1
Light Intensity: 1

I'm sad to say that the mod makes my game crash when I place the spotlight turrets. I know you're retired but if you manage to get a modding team and revive your mods, then SE would be so much better. I'm using almost all your mods because you get exactly what's missing from the game.

Whenever I can hire a dedicated modding team for SE, I'll revive all my mods. Doing so is entirely dependent on community support for Project Universe.

Sorry to hear it's crashing :( There's nothing I can do. If you or someone you find can fix it, they're free to do so. You may need someone with C# experience to edit the scripts that make it work. It could just be SBC files, but it's unlikely. If you do fix it, add me as a friend to add as a contributor to "your mod" so my fans won't flag it.

I've modified it to make sure it works and will add it to my mod package. If you agree with me to use this mod. I can upload this mod to steam.
