Description
A fast escort carrier with 3 hangars. Can fly in moon gravity with Ion thrusters only.

UPDATE 2023
- some minor design improvements (stairs, observation deck etc).
- more ion thrusters on the upper side
- fixed all the displays that were messed up due to 4 years of game updates
- named/renamed a lot of blocks for better overview
- tons of blocks where set to "hidden" in terminal
- fixed a bug where hangar 1 timers would affect hangar 2 displays

UPDATE 2019
- deactivated FLOOR PLAN SCRIPT because it's not working with the new LCD displays
- left the floor plan image as decoration but it won't refresh or show anything.

Description

The Yllcaster Carrier is a light support carrier. It has three fly-through-hangars (no turning around in the hangar). The Yllcaster is the little sister of my Greyhold Class Carrier. (16 hangars).

BASIC INFORMATION
- Can fly in moon atmospheres with ion thrusters only
- Can fly in planet atmospheres with hydro thrusters
- ~3900 Blocks
- ~26000 PCU
- ~3500 Tons
- survival ready
- Can carry about 3- 6 small ships, depending on their size. (3 of my larger Warbird-Fighters)
- 3 turrets
- landable: Can land on even ground or platforms. You can then reach the ship's entrance without using a jetpack

AUTOMATIC HANGAR SYSTEM
- sensor will detect incoming ship (small grid only)
- hangar lights will start blinking so you know that the hangar opening sequence has started
- hangar vents will depressurize hangar for 7 seconds
- hangar doors open up for another 30 seconds
- lcd displays will warn you about the open hangar
- after the 20 seconds the hangar will close. display will be turned off and hangar will be pressurized again
- to leave hangar just use the button panel before you enter your ship.
- you can access every hangar from the hangar-control-stations at the bridge

- 3x Jump Drive (8000-12000km range. Depeding on cargo/ship load)

- medical station with 4 cryo pods

@Wolfsblut das Subgrid ist ledigleich der Fahrstuhl, der nur aus dem Piston und dem darauf befindlichen, roten Catwalk besteht. Wenn du das Schiff per Projektor im Survival baust, ist das Schiff danach komplett vollständig, bis auf deb fehlenden Catwalk auf dem Piston Kopf.

@Hull Breach: Hallo, könntest du bitte kurz beschreiben, welche SubGrids im Schiff verbaut sind. Dann könnte ich diese dann eventuell nachbauen.

You connect the ship to a station/ship with hydrogen and set your hydrogen tanks to stockpile.
Or you get some ice and put it into any container.
