Item is in clear violation of the 2211 Trisystem Accord, notably Section 3-2; a blanket ban on use of xenobiological componentry in weapon systems, brought about by the terran Uniforge corporation's use of Eltrian brain stems hidden in generic logic cores for missile guidance systems during the last multistellar war; the Sol Dominion has still not fully recovered from the conflict and cannot afford any chance of triggering another.

Encased within a glasma shield is a juvenile Andromedi which appears sedated and invasively connected to the weapon's control system. The Andromedi are renowned for their ability to manipulate electomagnetic fields by synaptic impulse.
The front contains a Rigelian Imp Worm, its digestive system has been incorporated into the projectile channel; it also appears the worm's circulatory system is now functioning as both heatsink and active cooling, as well as keeping the Andromedi alive. The Imp Worm is a well known parasitic organism with incredible survivability and proliferation throughout its home system, able to endure extremes of temperature and pressure.

Upon enhanced interrogation, the CEO of Kighaxis corporation has disavowed all knowledge of the weapon; claiming it is a Varicorp smear campaign. To further, the Varicorp head counter-claimed it was a Kighaxis plant and lead-in to a desperate double-bluff.
The entire executive branch of both corporations will be facing summary execution if the matter is not resolved within the next forty-eight hours (terran standard time) under Sol common law; intention to break multiple peace accords for financial gain being the charge.
