Description
This mod buffs the Handguns and Crossbows for the Empire and Dwarves along with their associated units to make them more powerful.

The changes are:-

Empire and Dwarf ranged units now come in full infantry sized units.

Handgun Damage buffed to 25

Dwarf Handgun range buffed to 165

Human and Dwarven crossbow AP damage buffed to 6

Crossbow range buffed to 170

Pistol AP damage buffed and standardised across units.

Update 1: Buffed Bugman's Rangers crossbow range to 170

I highly recommend using the Empire tech Tree Mod with this to make the Empire Handgunners get much better range once barrel rifling is researched: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1705836623

NOTE: Not compatible with Resurgent Gunpowder: Harder hitting guns and crossbows for the Empire and Dwarves

I'm sure most have moved on to WH3 by now, but just note if you're trying to use this mod that it does NOT change the range of Crossbows to 170 nor does it include Bugman's Rangers. And yes, ANY mods altering unit stats could conflict with this. Seemed to work OK for Empire without needing to tweak load order, but could not get it to take for a Dwarf Campaign even after adding it to start of load order. 170 range for Crossbows was achieved by using PFM to edit the mod. I suppose you could also add in the Bugman's Rangers but... meh. Never use em.

Strangely, it was a mod which modified the stats of bretonnian units.

Look for mods that alter ranged units in particular. You could also try altering your load order to make this mod load on top of the other mod.

Alright, it still works. One of my many mods interferes with it. This is gonna be fun to figure out.

It still has a green check mark in the mod menu. For some reason it doesn't effect any of the units at all. I have a mod that modifies some stats of the state troops, but that shouldn't prevent it from working. Even dwarf thunderers don't have the improved stats, and the only dwarf mod I have installed is one which adds dwarf spearmen.

Will get updated just as soon as my Covid gets better. While the Empire tech tree mod doesn't work due to updates, this mod should still work even if it is out of date.
