Description
Mod focuses on alcohol and other drugs derived from natural sources that have historically been used in different cultures for ceremonial, spiritual and recreational purposes. Compatible with vanilla

Disabling resources
1. Go to %userprofile%\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\MODS\Drug Resources (v 2)\Lua\DrugResourceList.lua
2. Follow the instructions in the file, comment out lines beginning with "OnMapResourceGenerator"

Checkered textures issue
The game seems to be limited in the number of resources you can have, if you want to use this mod in a playthrough you may have to disable some other resource mods. Thanks to Darklord Morius for pointing this out

Add the .civ5mod file to your mods folder, if this doesn't work then extract it manually (it's a compressed archive).

I had this mod working perfectly along with avian resources and aquatic resources, and suddenly the drug and avian resources stopped appearing on the map in new saves. The only other mods I downloaded since have nothing to do with resources.

For those who are experiencing the checkered problem: The game can process only a limited quantity of resources variety in the game. Maybe you have too many.

yeah no worries, its more of an intellectual curiosity than a complaint. Tho the resources look really neat in your screens lol
