This doesnt bring back the unlimited continues from the JP version. Its actually just a romhack that puts the 3-hit per life in the USA version

Looks like it is japaneese version. There is three health bars in this version which make it really easy. All my life it was one of the hardest games for me, newer beat it, but this version i beat in first try.
