Description
From the work of Project Berserker, Knightmare Industries presents the Stridsyxa, a powerful ship with the highest endurance of any KMI ship built so far. Armed with 16 Gatling Guns, 6 Missile Turrets, 12 exterior placed Interior Turrets, 6 forward facing Rocket Launchers, 2 guided missile launchers, and a single gravity cannon that doubles as a gravity drive, the Stridsyxa is ready to take on all comers. The key is its endurance, as the ship's greatest asset is an array of welders which keep turrets funcional during battle using a built in blueprint projector. It is well protected with a heavy armor hull that is thickest at the front. This gives it a dry mass of 7,424 Metric Tons.

The Stridsyxa is a ship built for battle and has no refineries, assemblers or arc furnaces. It carries plenty of cargo space for parts with 2 large cargo containers and dozens of smaller cargo containers. There is a small hangar for docking support ships, as well as two connectors on either side of the stern. The ship can support a crew of 7 with cryo tubes and a medical bay. The ship carries 2 jump drives, a gravity drive, and large hydrogen thrusters at the back for primary propulsion, with an array of ion thrusters for maneuvering. The ship sports the usual assortment of systems, scripts, remote control, program blocks, timer blocks and so on.

The Stridsyxa is vanilla, survival ready, and built in the style of Expanse ships.

Author's Notes:
So, this ship came at a bad time... the moment I realized the wonderful custom vanilla weapons I was using no longer did anything. This kind of hurt my morale, and I went off to do other things for a few weeks before I got back around to finishing the details and publishing the ship. I've replaced those weapons with what are honestly very basic weapons. If you have better ones, you should use them. The mounting for the gravity gun is large grid, but you can replace that with a small grid version if needed. In the meantime, I'll be looking for better, albeit more conventional, custom weapons to add. All that aside, I'm very pleased with this ship, as it can take on the Soteria that has twice the firepower and mass and come out on top. Its also likely that I will build one or two other versions of this ship, one without the gravity cannon, and one in an MCRN theme.
