The best part is the big interconected ocean though. Vannila maps rarely have a body of water this big and it really allows for a game with more than one under water faction to actually be viable. I love the roleplay potential for aquatic politics, especially with EA factions
also if using a cold domain it make the Alps inaccesible to land troops perpetualy, which makes nations like Caleum kinda broken because they can just freeze the alps and just fly over them to attack the other side, kinda screws nations without easy access to flying troops.
