FV 39 'Barracuda' Mk.3

The FV 39 Barracuda Mk.3 improves upon the previous Mk.2 model with a new turret design and significantly better composite armour.

The new armour design makes the tank a bit heavier at 77 Tonnes compared to the Mk.2 which weighs in at 74.8 Tonnes, reducing the top speed slightly from 80Km/h to a still respectable 65Km/h. However this new armour design more than makes up for the reduction in speed for it's massively supperior protection against incoming tank rounds, making it even more effective at taking on enemy tanks than the previous model.

The turret has had a slight redesign in an attempt to make it look more modern with features such as 'blowout pannels' and moving the cupolas forward. This redesign also got rid of the large machine gun mount and spotlight as I decided they increased the tank's overall profile too much for the little benifit they provided.

Overall the 3rd iteration of the Barracuda should be a nice upgrade from its predecessor the Mk.2.
