Do you have other mods activated ? It sounds like a bad interaction with another mod that might affect trades.

currently have a bug that makes everyone want nearly a million gold from me for literally anything in there trade slot soo qwq

If you ask if it makes books from other mods cheaper no it won't. This mod changes the price of the books existing in game, the mods adding new books add their own prices to their books. So it would require to make a compatibility mod or something along those lines in those cases.
