@Xanthus in these screens the camera is slowly panning. Just do nothing and let it keep panning, it'll pan far enough over that some of the scene will go offscreen and you'll see the Mean Clean bottle guy slowly appear from the side.

Could someone explain how the control inputs are revealed? I’ve read mention of looking at camera movements somewhere but I’m confused on how you’d figure this out without help.

you could see that from a mile away XD, its probably the most predictable twist on the whole game, and its not even the ending, what the heck

where are the spoilers exactly? i see people crying because they opened a guide before even STARTING the game, getting the ending spoiled, but i dont see any significant spoilers in here honestly

Never mind, I figured it out myself after posting that comment. I looked up a guide that gave the PS4 inputs, and converted them.

For anyone else who might be using an XBOX controller, they are as follows (Note: the directional inputs refer to the D-pad):
