Commandeer AI (Rankless)

This simple mod allows you to commandeer AI units via an ACE interaction which makes them join your group so you can control them. You can subsequently dismiss them from your group as well.

This works with units on your side and civilian units in single and multiplayer.

This version does not evaluate your rank vs. the AI's rank .

This is useful in hostage and downed pilot scenarios so you can quickly gain a high degree of control over friendly AI units using the vanilla ARMA AI commands..

A technical note - when civilians are commandeered they will join your side which could make them targets for OPFOR (this is an engine limitation of ARMA). If you subsequently dismiss the unit they will be returned to the civilian "side".
