I have made a series of mods that change all of the terrain in the game. The mods are small and should be compatible with most other things.
This one changes everything to mountains by editing terrain properties.
Links to all of them are below. My mods do not modify the look of the map. I am not a graphics guy. Also I tried that once and the world looked ugly.

The mods come in the following versions:

BASIC
This version changes the properties of terrain itself.It does not change, names, graphics, etc. It only changes the game behavior (unit effects). For example with the basic mountains mod plains will still look like plains and be named plains, but will behave like mountains. To verify this, just hover over the terrain picture and you will see the unit effects or fight a battle and see the terrain effects there. It also doesn't affect unit-specific bonuses, for example mountaineers still get bonuses only in the provinces that are named "mountains", regardless of the changes this mod makes. This version is inferior in that regard, but you might still want to use it, because it should be compatible with most other mods that change the map, because it does not touch the map files. Theoretically you should be able to take any other mod that completely changes the map and modify it further with this one.

MAP
This version is generally better, but will conflict with other map mods. It changes the map itself, so the miniatures, names, unit effects and so on will work everywhere. Using the same example as before, with the MAP mountains mod, plains will now look like mountains on the miniature, be named mountains, behave like mountains and give bonuses to mountaineers. Que the super-mountaineers that get bonuses everywhere.
This variant was added after some constructive criticism from the user Des.

SPECIAL
This is just some weird stuff I came up with, like covering the world with lava or adding a fast road network everywhere.

FAQ:
- No, I can't put all of it in one mod, I don't even know how. At the point of finishing those I've been modding for a little over 1 week. I also dislike the initial game setup done by events. I prefer to have a lot of smaller mods that I can turn on and off.
- Yes, you can make videos with these, of course you can.
