Description

NOTE: Updated for 1.4. Unless stated in the comments this mod should be compatible with current and future versions. The only way this mod will break is if something fundamentally changes with pack mules. If there are any issues please let me know.

Ruar!!! Dinosaurs! This is a Pack Mules Extended patch for spincrus' beautiful Dinosauria mod. It extends some of the larger Dinosaurs so that you can throw stuff on their backs and use them in caravans.

Hand Drawn Art

Originally I was going to just throw the Dromedary pack on all of the dinosaurs and, once I was done, I realize how much it diminished the beautiful art that was the dinos. So before uploading the mod, I reached out to my bestie to see if she wanted to help out and, the result was hand drawn packs for all of the supported dinos. Please let us know what you think about the art!

- Tyrannosaurus Rex
- Spinosaurus
- Carnotaurus
- Yutyrannus
- Baryonyx
- Allosaurus
- Brontosaurus
- Brachiosaurus
- Diplodocus

Compatibility

- Existing save compatible
- Can safely remove (I would recall all caravan's first!)
- Low mod conflict chance if loaded last (Reminder: Load me last!)

I'll fix the null defs on Dinosauria soon when I get the chance. But it works nonetheless.

Oh I've been playing on the unstable 1.6 branch with Dinosauria already and in spite of the null defs, it seems to be working fine for me so far

Updated to 1.6. No major changes in the way pack animals work so no changes required.

I did notice that Dinosauria on 1.6, even when loaded alone, was giving some null def errors. I haven't play Rimworld in a long time so I'm not sure if there's an alternative mod. Keep that in mind when moving to 1.6!

I took at a peek at Biomes Prehistoric and I'm not sure what support is being requested. It looks like a brand new mod that already has integrated pack mule art for its dinosaurs. Can you elaborate?
